Juanita Claudelle Sutherland

She was born July 7, 1932 in Smackover, AR to Claude Lamar Kimrey and Daisy Mae Meadows Kimrey. Before retiring Claudelle worked 34 years as a LPN for Medical Center of South Arkansas and she was a member of Northwest Avenue Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her son, Richard Sutherland, and her brother Harry Kimrey.

Survivors include two daughters, Toni Sutherland of Columbia, MO & Carla Sutherland of West Palm Beach, FL; two sons, Robert Sutherland & Jerry Sutherland and his wife Krista, both of El Dorado; two grandsons, Richard Lane Sutherland of El Dorado & Glen Bates and his wife Stephanie of Cabot, AR; three granddaughters, Tracy Sutherland of El Dorado, Kaci Johnson and her husband Don of El Dorado & Kindall Sutherland of New Orleans, LA; four great-grandsons, Chase, Conner & Cayden Bates and Aiden & Garrett Johnson and great-granddaughter, Avery Johnson; sister, Marjorie Rinehart of Ruston, LA; brother, Robert Kimrey and his wife Peggy of Smackover; and sister-in-law Mrs. Harry (Merlene) Kimrey of Ruston LA.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 in Young’s Chapel with Bros. Sye Duke and Robert “Bob” Gryder officiating. There will be a private interment at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Young’s Funeral Directors.
