Louis Fields

He was born August 3, 1959, in El Dorado to Louis C. Fields, Jr. and Freda Protz Fields. Louis worked as a warehouse shipping supervisor for Hubbell. He loved softball and was a good pitcher who coached for church leagues, he loved hunting and piddling in the woods, digging for diamonds, golf, 55 Chevy’s and oriental food. Louis was a member of Cross Life Church.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors include his loving wife, Melissa Fields; his daughter, Brie Fields, who was the apple of his eye; mother, Freda Fields of Parkers Chapel; two brothers Tony Fields and wife Kathie of Jacksonville, FL, David Tarver and wife Nina of Tulsa, OK; three sisters, Vicki Risinger and husband Max of Parkers Chapel, Debbie Morgan of Saltillo, MS and Kathy Davis of Parkers Chapel; special sisters-in-law, Rebecca Glass and Angel Wolfe; very special loved friends Marty and Misty Rosson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2011 at Young’s.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Cross Life Church with Dr. Dwain Miller and Rev. Chester Passmore officiating. Burial will follow at Parkers Chapel cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
