Born February 10, 1927 in Spearsville, Louisiana she was the daughter of Clarence and Rosa Groves Bryant. Mrs. Greer was a homemaker and a member of West Side Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband, James "Buddy" Greer, a son, Neal Greer, a granddaughter, Stacey Hancock, brothers, Willie Bryant, Berney Bryant and Orville Bryant along with a sister, Margie Phillips.
Survivors include two sons, Nolan Greer (Dusty) of Highland Park, Texas and Lance Greer (Sondra) and a daughter-in-law, Laura Greer all of El Dorado. Surviving grandchildren are Jamie Greer, Crystal Greer, Alsie Blackmon (Zac), Lance Greer, Jr. (Lauren), and Alexandra Greer and great-grandchildren, Patrick, Emily, Shelby, Jackson, Nellie, Rowan and Dare. Also surviving is a grand son-in-law, Russell Hancock along with a special niece, Doris King who treated her like a mother and many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, May 12, 2023 at Young's from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Cody Lain officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
