Luther Dale Pyle

He was born December 15, 1949 in Huttig, AR to Doss Pyle and Beatrice Canterberry Pyle. Luther was a retired truck driver.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, Bruce Pyle and M.C. “Chuck” Canterberry and a sister, Ann Tucker.

Survivors include his wife, Dorinda Pyle; a son, Dale Collins of Collinsville, IL; a daughter, Amy Pyle of Monroe, LA; two step-daughters, Katlyn Rogers of El Dorado, AR and Samantha Medlin (Vince) of Strong, AR; a brother, Jack Pyle (Ruby) of Springdale, AR; three sisters, Katie Sue Humphries (Ernest) of Taylor, AR, Pansy Farr of Taylor, AR and Effie Gathright (Johnny) of Mt. View, AR; grandchildren, Ashley Collins, Jacob Collins, Zac Kelley, Kristopher Pyle and Kendalynn McCarthy; step-grandchildren, Miles Medlin, Preston Pepper and Callie King; one expected great-grandchild, Gemma Rose Medlin and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2021 in Young’s Chapel with Rev. Lyle Hern officiating. Burial will follow at Harper Springs Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.
