Margie “Mickey” Louise Adams of El Dorado, Arkansas passed away Saturday January 4, 2020. She was born November 5, 1925 in El Dorado to John Franklin “Bill “Burrow and Cora Irene Hinson Burrow.

Mickey was a member of First Baptist Church and formally worked for The Slaughter House.

She is preceded by her parents, her husband Buddy Adams, two brothers; Billy and Pete Burrow and her sister; Edith McGaugh.

Surviving her are her daughter Marcia Adams Justice (Jay) of Little Rock Arkansas, and her three sons; Mark W. Adams (Shawna) of Vienna, Virginia, John B. Adams (Renee) of Marietta, Georgia, Stephen C. Adams (Teresa) of El Dorado, Arkansas.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home. Graveside services will follow immediately at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Brian Trostle officiating.

I have many fond memories of Mickey - she "showed me the ropes" as a teen when I started working at The Slaughter House. She told me stories of my dad from when they were students at EHS and she taught me many life lessons! Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
