Mary Sue White

Born September 30, 1937 in Hamburg, Arkansas she was the daughter of B. C. and Alice Lorene Spoonts Cook. She had been in the grocer business with her husband over 20 years having owned Robert’s Grocery. She was member of East Main Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death along with her parents were a son, Shawn White and brothers Kenneth Cook and Floyd Cook.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Robert White of El Dorado , a son Dale White (Becky) of Ft. Smith, AR, a brother, Jerry E. Cook (Jo) of Steelton, PA and a sister, Barbara Wells of Tunica, MS. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Kristin Basham (Kyle) of Knoxville, TN and Josh White (Sara) of Conway, AR.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 28, 2014 in the chapel of Young’s Funeral Directors with Dr. Benjy McCann officiating. A private interment will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens following the services. The family will remain at the funeral home during the interment to visit with friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P. m. Monday evening at Young’s.
