

Mr. Cain is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, served 4 years. He worked for Colonial Bakery, Guy’s Liquor Store, Small Engine Repair, and retired from Rock Island Railroad after 24 years. He was a member of the UTU Union Railroad and of Methodist Faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Thomas (Sleepy) Cain, Hugh (Pete) Cain, and Billy W. Cain.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dottie Jane Cain; two sons, Stephen Cain (Marsha) of El Dorado, and Scotty Ray Cain of New York, NY; one grandson, Allen Dale Cain (Jodi) of El Dorado; one great-grandson, Shane Cain; one great-granddaughter, Izabella Cain both of El Dorado; four sisters, Bessie Broussard of El Dorado, Merle Arrant of Lufkin, TX, Una Bell Thompson of Huttig, AR, and Betty Jordan (Charles) of Memphis, TN; three step grandchildren, Michshelee Evans, Tristen Moore, and Quintan Moore; several nieces and nephews; and a very good friend Judy Pitre.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at East Main Baptist Church with Rev. Benji McCann officiating and under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Visitation with the family at Cain residence will be located at 212 Lilac Drive in El Dorado from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday 27, 2012.
