Neomia Ruth Lum

Neomia Ruth Lum, 90 of Huttig, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. She was born November 27, 1931 in Parkdale, Arkansas to James H. and Bertha Lee Audirsch Tarter.

Neomia was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of Harper Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Being an excellent seamstress she made all of the children’s school clothes, she also loved gardening and arts and crafts. She was proud of her German lineage of the Adolph Carl Audirsch and John Lambert Dopson families.

She is preceded by her parents and her husband of 64 years Fulton Lum Sr, her daughter Judy Oliver, one brother Emmett Tarter, three sisters Freda Binford, Nellie Pridgen, Annie Bourg and three grandchildren Patricia McGilton, Chris Oliver, and Joshua Lum.

Surviving her is one brother James Paul Tarter(Dot) of Haile, LA, six children; Fulton Lum Jr. from Huttig Arkansas, Jimmy Lum of El Dorado, Arkansas, Karen Graves ( Karl) of Huttig Arkansas, Sandra Johnstone also of Huttig, Arkansas , Jerry Lum of Cabot, Arkansas and Janice Dupree(Carter) of Farmerville La.

Also her grandchildren; Georgina, Rachel, Adam, Anita, Keith, Douglas, Jonathan, Terrah, Brandon, Nicole, Dylan, Stephanie, Misty, Justin, and Robert. She is also survived by forty Great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday May 25, 2022, 10:00 at Harper Springs Cemetery in Huttig Arkansas with Bro. Bill Howard officiating, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held Tuesday May 24, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Young’s Funeral Directors.
