

Nora spent many years as a secretary for the Strong School District, where she touched many young people’s lives as well as the lives of her co-workers.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Emmons Davis, father, Bruce Lynch, brother, Donald Davis and sister, Beverly Traylor.
Nora is survived by her husband, Gerrald Koonce of Camden, AR, children, Michelle Summerhill Johnson of Houston, TX, Charles Summerhill and Ronel Huysamen of Tubac, AZ, Angie and Ronald Rogers of Little Rock, AR, and John and Megan Koonce of El Dorado, AR. Nora had eight grandchildren, Alexis Johnson, Brittany Johnson, Destinee Rogers (Kayla), Desiree Richard (Patrick), Wynter Rogers, Whitley Rogers, Brooklyn Summerhill, Charles Summerhill, Jr., and four great grandchildren, Ava Richard, Amia Richard, Ashton Archie, and Ace Richard, whom she was undeniably proud of. Her children and grandchildren were the apple of her eye, and she loved spending time with them and supporting everything they did, no matter where that took her. She traveled countless hours with her husband Gerrald to attend their many basketball games or to visit with family who lived far away.
Her family would like to thank the staff of Timberlane Health and Rehab Center for their endless support, compassion, and exceptional care of their beloved Nora.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Strong. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Ada Valley Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
