Peggy Marlene Olsen

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Newport, AR and worked as a clerk for JC Penney in Newport for 11 Years. Peggy was devoted to her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 38 years, Norman “Ole” Olsen; her adopted parents; Jim and Evelina Busby Gatlin; two brothers, Charles L. and Billy Joe Raymond; sisters, Lois Huntamer, Louise Campbell; and son, Raymond D. Johnson.

Survivors include three children, Cindy Mabry (James) of El Dorado, Larry Olsen (Mary) of Woodward, IA, Terri Onsott of El Dorado; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Young’s.

A graveside memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014, at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Newport, AR under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. Patrick Fleming officiating.
