

He was a retired Air Force master Sergeant having served 21 years active duty. A retired teacher having taught 12 years at El Dorado High School. A retired Arkansas State Parks and Tourism. Member of the Air Force Sergeant Association and Arkansas Retired Teachers Association.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. His grandchildren called him “Pop” and they all loved him.
He attended Ebenezer Baptist Church and was a member of the Men’s “Ready “class which he enjoyed.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his first wife, Sarah C. (Pate) Morton; his second wife, Adrianne (Steinsick) Morton; his brother Eugene Morton; Step-Mother, Edna (Tucker) Morton; and Step-Brother Pete (Boykin) Tucker.
Survivors are three sons, Roger Morton (Becky) of El Dorado, Mike Morton (BJ Darden) of El Dorado, and Clif Morton (Sandra) of Camden; two stepsons Richard Steinsiek of Louann and Jeff Steinsiek (Jami) of El Dorado; stepsisters, Billie Davis of Marysville, AR and Sue Murphy of Kerville, TX;
grandchildren, Jennifer Burroughs (Stevie), Melissa Pratt (Jeremy), Luke Morton, Laura Houston (Sebastian) Daniel Morton (Melissa), Great Grandchildren, Taylor ,Tori , and Tifani Burroughs, Colton and Macy Pratt and Elizabeth Houston; and step-grandchildren, Kristen and Brandon Steinsiek, and Ashley and Reagan Steinsiek.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 Saturday August 17, 2013 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Pelz officiating, Burial will follow at Lapile Cemetery in Huttig, AR under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday night from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
