Terry N. Jones

Terry Neil Jones passed away on April 18, 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of laughter, love, and unforgettable stories. If you were lucky enough to know Terry, chances are he talked a little mess to you- and made you laugh while doing it. He lived with boldness and humor.

Terry’s presence was a gift to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Terry was a true character. He loved to dance, celebrate life, and cheer on his beloved Dallas Cowboys.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ruby Jones and sister, Patty Looper. He is survived by his sister Sherry (Arthur) Briggs, his nephews Shawn Chandler, Mark Harris, Christopher (Alagwan) Pearson, Chad (Stacey) Pearson, Jeremy Briggs, Arthur Briggs III and nieces Tracy (Corey) Bell, LaTisha (Ron) Briggs, Lydia Briggs along with a host of other great nieces and nephews, one great-great nephew, and Joslynn George, Courtney Boone, Cabrina Fulton, and Keithan Mitchell very dear family friends who held a special place in his heart all of who will remember him for his spirit, his heart and the laughter he brought into their lives with deep affection and a smile.

A memorial service and balloon release to celebrate Terry’s vibrant life will be at Old City Park in El Dorado, Arkansas on May 24 at 2:00 p.m.

Cremation services are entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.
