To the Wechter Family: It is with great sorrow, and sweet memories, that I have learned of the loss of your  lovely Sylvia.  My   Beloved David, and I,  began dating, in the early 1960's, and somehow,then,  we were talking about names. He told me "Sylvia," was his favorite name."...That he had a cousin named Sylvia, and  that he was so fond of her! In time, I  met Sylvia, and yes, David was right, she was truly nice, and so  lovely.  It  is with sorrow, but sweet memories, as well, that I have learned of Sylvia's passing, and your great loss. Please know my thoughts are with each of you, at this time of sorrow.  I hope the fond memories of yesterdays you all shared,  will bring some  comfort to each of you. Mr Wechter gave me my start in the self storage industry at Regency in 1996 and when I left El Paso to move to California he was very supportive of my wife and my desire to be with our grandkids. I was saddened when I saw the Obit.

We are so sorry for your loss.  We have recently found information that suggests that Blanche Wechter was the sister of our grandfather, Aaron Farb of Galveston and that she lived for a time with his family in Galveston. Sylvia......Just heard of Aaron's passing. I am truly sorry. He was a fine gentleman. One of the really nice guys.

I'm so sorry to hear of Aaron's passing. Every time I saw Aaron he had a big smile on his face and my remembrance of him will be that big illuminated smile.
I regret that I won't be able to attend his funeral as I'm in  Taiwan R.O.C.  at this time. Love to you all. Godspeed Aaron Wechter.

We were so sorry to hear of Aaron's passing.  He was the definition of a gentleman.  Such a warm and kind person, in his business dealings you knew his word was his bond. You do not know me, but I spoke with him about 6 months on the phone.  I called him out of curiosity and just to speak...because my name too is Aaron Wechter.  We did not have much in common, but he was aware of my existence through the internet as I was aware of his.  Strangely too, we are both members of Temple Bnai Zion.  Mine is located where I live, here in Key West.
I am sorry we did had never had the opportunity to meet.
