She graduated from IM Terrell High School
In 1948. She continued her education at Johnson’s School of Cosmetology, then worked in Minnie’s Beauty shop for three years. She met the love of her life, Odyses Fisher ( preceeded her in death) November 30, 1949. After moving to El Paso, Texas she found employment at Providence Memorial Hospital, working there for 33 years, retiring, March 31, 1992. She was a faithfull member of Community Baptist Church, serving as President of the Usher Board, WMU, working in the churches food pantry, She was a long time member of the Silhouette Civic and Social club, Friends Forever Ladies Club, Morning Glory Community Service Group. She loved helping those in need, reading and doing cross word puzzles. Alberta leaves behind to cherish her memory, Zeak L. Williams III (Godson), Barbara Jean Woodson (Surrogate Daughter), Ethelene Hutchings (cousin), Connie Hutchings (niece), Edward Ford (Frances) (cousin), Arrimenta Fisher Estes (sister-in-law), and a host of nieces and nephews as well as friends.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 North Zaragoza Rd. With a graveside service to follow at 1:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave.
