Alfredo M. Almodovar

Alfredo M. Almodovar, 72, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Ramon and Julianna Almodovar. Alfredo is survived by his wife of 48 years, Moraima, their children: Ana, Rebecca (Daniel), Alejandra (Jonathan), Rosalia (Robert), Marcela (Michael) and Alfredo; his brothers Genaro and Gustavo Almodovar, sister Elena Perez, Grandchildren: Analisa, Dominic, Cristian, Sofia, William, Samantha, Gabriel, Danielle, Alexis, Michael, Adam, Isaac, Aydan, Angellina and Alyssa. Great Grandchildren: Aivah, Braelyn and Messiah.

Our husband and father was of strong character. He showed us tough love, but was always there to help and give us guidance throughout our lives. He left a lasting impression on all who met him. He could always be counted on to dance the night away with you, but still show up early the next morning to mow your lawn. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 25th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Kaster-Maxon & Futrell Funeral Home, 8817 Dyer, with Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, Nov. 26th at 11:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church followed by interment at Restlawn Memorial Park.
