Alicia L Palmer, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on March 14, 2022 at the age of 91. She was born to Herminio and Eugenia Castaneda on May 27, 1930 and was the oldest of 4 children. After attending Ysleta High School she started working at Kress five and dime where she met her loving husband William D Palmer and together they had 7 children. She later worked at Farah Manufacturing and eventually became a hardworking homemaker caring for her family. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, and decorating her home. Her strength never wavered and she overcame many obstacles in her life.
She is survived by her loving children Jim Palmer, Tom Palmer, Linda Palmer, Debra Palmer, David Palmer, Daniel Palmer, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren as well as her two brothers Ruben and Herman
She is preceded in death by her husband William D Palmer, her parents Herminio and Eugenia Castaneda, her son William D Palmer Jr, and her sister Esther Vasquez.
Viewing will be held on Sunday March 20, 2022 between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home East with the funeral following on Monday March 21, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
