Alicia Lombraña, 84, went home to be with our Lord May 11, 2018. She passed away at home surrounded by her loving husband and family. Alicia was born to Maria Luisa and Enrique Real y Vasquez on September 21, 1933. A lifelong resident of El Paso, she graduated from Jefferson High School, where she met her high school sweetheart and husband of 62 years, Raul. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Martha Avila, Bertha Chavarria, and brother Raul Real y Vasquez. She is survived by her devoted husband Raul Sr.; her adoring children Raul Jr. (Brigette), Sylvia, Ruben (Martina), and Raymond; grandchildren Natalie (Edgar), Joe, Eric, Ezequiel; great grandchildren Alyssa, Julian, Noah; siblings Celia Scanlan, Henry and George Real y Vasquez. “Licha” had a generous heart and always had her home open to those in need. She was a beautiful soul who always kept a positive outlook on life despite her illnesses. Her faith in God never wavered. She loved her family immensely and would beam with pride when speaking about each and every one of them, even until her last days. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 5:00-9:00pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, with a vigil at 7:00pm. A funeral mass will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:30am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 North Clark Drive. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
