It is with deep sorrow and immense love that we announce the passing of Antonio D. Aleman, who left us far too soon on July 8, 2025, at the age of 33.
Antonio was a devoted husband to Genesis Aleman, and a proud father to his two beloved sons, Antonio Alexander Aleman and Leonel Aleman. His family was the heart of his world, and everything he did was driven by his love and commitment to them.
Antonio dedicated his career to public service and the safety of his community. He began with the Corrections Department on May 3, 2014, serving honorably until April 11, 2021. He continued his journey in law enforcement with the Dona Ana County Sheriff's Office (DASO), where he served with distinction from October 7, 2021, until his passing.
Known for his unwavering determination, Antonio always achieved the goals he set for himself. His drive, humor, and infectious laughter brought joy to everyone around him. He had a rare gift for making people laugh and lighting up any room he entered. Antonio was more than a public servant - he was a loyal friend, a dedicated officer, and a man who never gave up on his dreams.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Antonio's legacy of love, laughter, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Antonio de Jesus is survived by his spouse, Genesis Aleman; his sons Antonio Alexander Aleman, and Leonel Aleman; his mother Atanacia F. Cano; his brother Antonio Roberto Aleman, and his sisters Annalyly Aleman and America Patricia Aleman.
Antonio de Jesus was preceded in death by his father Antonio Aleman; his grandmother Rosa Carmen Guerrero, and his grandfather Roberto Cano Rodriguez.
A visitation for Antonio de Jesus will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West, 5054 Doniphan Drive, El Paso, TX 79932. A rosary will occur Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 5054 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, Texas 79932. A second visitation will occur Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:15 AM, 5054 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, Texas 79932. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 5750 Doniphan Dr, El Paso, TX 79932. A graveside service will occur Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Memorial Pines Cemetery, 3061 Memorial Pines Ln, Sunland Park, NM 88063.
