He was in the Army before moving to El Paso to work 25 years with KLAQ Radio. El Paso became his permanent home when he married Nancy Cottle and they had two children and three grandchildren. Ben was preceded in death by his mother, Faye Birran Stoltzman, father, Benjamin Daniel Stoltzman and brother in law, Bill Richter. Ben is survived by, son Ted and wife Molly, daughter Stacy and grandchildren Pierce, Lena and Hollis, sister Jeanne Stoltzman Richter and nephew Jeffrey W. Richter and wife Eleanor.
