It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Beverly “Tootsie” Russell. She left this world, July 7th, 2025 at the age of 76. She passed peacefully in her home town of El Paso, Texas with the comfort of her family by her side.
She was born in El Paso on August 7th, 1948 and was a force to be reckoned with ever since. She spent her career as an Executive Housekeeper in various hotels and finally retired from Thomason Hospital. She had lots of hobbies - but most proudly, she was part of the Freeway Lanes Lady Keglers bowling league. She was full of life, gained respect from everyone she came in contact with and led a very successful and fulfilling life.
Beverly was blessed with a daughter, Stacey Russell, and dedicated her life to raising her to be strong and independent, knowing her self worth. She was a proud grandmother to her two grandchildren and their significant others - Kourtnie Russell (David) and Desirae Russell (Adam). She was even lucky enough to have 4 great grandchildren - Trevor, Preston, Nathan and Ethan, all four being the light in her eye. Beverly is preceded in death by her parents - Frank and Beverly Osborne and her brother - Philip Osborne. She is survived by her siblings - her twin brother Frank Osborne Jr, David Osborne, Michael Osborne and Cathy Collins. She was also very close to her in-laws - Randy Peloquin, Barbara Osborne, Terry Osborne and Jake Collins.
She may never know how much of an impact she made on this world - but everyone who knew her will be able to continue to make sure her legacy never dies. Our hearts are heavy with her passing, but we can all be at peace knowing we have the most beautiful guardian angel. Rest in peace, Beverly. She will always be missed - but we know that her heart, wisdom and guidance have set us all up to be ok and we are forever grateful.
In God's name, Amen.
A visitation for Beverly will be held Monday, July 14, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, TX 79936. Following the visitation will be a vigil service from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM.
