

Carlos Francisco Fraga, 82, of El Paso, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2015 at the home of his daughter in Lewisville, Texas. Born in El Paso, Texas to Jose and Elvira Fraga he lived most of his life in El Paso, Texas. He served four years active duty and four years reserve duty in the United States Air Force. He served one combat tour of duty in Korea during the Korean Conflict.
Carlos was a religious and passionate man who enjoyed spending time traveling to visit his children and grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoyed running, reading and music. He qualified four times for the Boston Marathon and competed in several marathons to include the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C., and the Boston Marathon.
Carlos was extremely loving and proud of his five children, Charles F. Fraga (Deceased), Mark J. Fraga M.D. (Lisa) of Southlake, Texas, S. Marrisa Gary (Donald) of Lewisville, Texas, Theresa C. McKaig (Tim) of Madison, Alabama, and John M. Fraga (Catherine) of Ashburn, Virginia. He is survived by his loving wife, Aurelia M. Fraga; his sister Maria Elena Martinez and her husband Manuel of El Paso, Texas; his sister Elvira Wardy and her husband Albert of El Paso, Texas; and his eleven grandchildren, Emma Fraga, John Mark Fraga, Lily Fraga, Kirsten Gary, Kyle Gary, Kendall Gary, Kelley Rogers (Michael), Katey McKaig, Aly McKaig, Tyler Fraga and Meredith Fraga.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with
a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home West. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 11:30 AM at St. Patrick Cathedral. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1:30 PM with Military Honors. Active pallbearers will be Mark J, Fraga M.D., John M.
