Ceci till we meet again...
 YOU left the legacy of love, laughter, service to a community, but most of all YOU touched many lives. When we went to see the Great Gatsby movie on the Friday of Mother's day weekend in 2013, we had such a blast.. all worries of the day were gone because we loved, laughed and made some awesome memories. We ate, took pics, spoke about having the COY or was it KOI look? We were the Class of 1923...as  they called our names out to get seated. We whopped at the movies and said next time another movie comes out with a theme..we will get dressed.. At our AHS reunion, you were having fun, dancing, sitting on people's laps. You were the life of the party.  I bumped into you several times at Sprouts and you always had a smile and a hug.... rest in peace beautiful girl and know that I THANK YOU for being part of my dash... 1965-????. We will miss you but never forget you. The heavens are rejoicing with joy! 

So many people's hearts are broken right now. Ceci has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. She was one of a kind. "Chiquita, pero picosa." She was small but she packed a big punch. 
I didn't get to know Ceci that long, six years at the most. The first time I heard her speak was when she was the master of ceremonies for the Optimist Club's Denim and Pink luncheon. I was in awe. She was pretty, petite, stylish from head to toe, her make up and hair were flawless, all her jewelry matched and coordinated with her outfit, and she spoke as if she was a lifetime member of Toastmasters. She was funny, and had everyone laughing. You better never be crying or sad in front of Ceci because she'll have you smiling and looking on the bright side in no time. She's
the type of person that can turn a negative into a positive.  
She said she wanted to be like me and volunteer with the American Cancer Society, as if she wasnt already doing enough. I told her that's hilarious because the first time I saw how she worked a variety of events I told her I wanted to be like her, so confident and secure. She is the epitome of fearless.
I am content that God put her in my path. I am content that she wanted to spend more time with me and get to know me better. She made me feel like the most unpopular kid in high school getting to  hang out with the most popular girl, always surrounded by so many friends. I was content, no I was honored she picked me to be her HOPE Coach during her treatments. She got the title of Hope Coach from our 2017 Survivor dinner  as shown in the picture below with her other Hope Coach, Cindi Alvara.  She felt God planned it that way. I went home and asked Google, "hey google, what's a hope coach?"
I got to spend so much time with her. We talked about everything and anything. I was content to get her where she needed to be, get her tomato basil soup, her Doritos,  or a sandwich  from Schlotzsky's. but I was  humble she picked me to be her friend. 

Ceci was one great Kiwanian!  She started our Wine Tasting Fundraiser that is so very successful and looked forward to by so many people.  She was a great orator and a wonderful and devoted Lt. Governor.  She will be greatly missed!

Ceci was truly dedicated to and loved Key Club!  Her Key Clubbers were everything to her. The Key Clubbers loved dancing, and doing Spooktacular with her as well as various projects to make the world a brighter place! She was an inspiration and truly made a difference in the lives she touched!

We met in junior high and our friendship lasted all these years thank you for being my friend your smile and laughter will always be in my memory you had a heart of gold always giving of yourself thats what made you so wonderful fly with the angels my friend til we meet again

My Dear, your work is done. We are all inspired by your spirit and words. Thank you for all the hard work, now you have gained your wings to paradise.  We will continue to lift your spirit and we rejoice and  laugh at the troubled parting when we meet again. Prayers for Strength for the Family. Peace be Still. 

On behalf of the American Cancer Society of El Paso, it is with a heavy heart that we extend our condolences to the family and friends of Ms. Ceci. We appreciate her years of support with our society, she will forever hold a place in the heart of the American Society. Rest in Peace.

Although I only met Ceci a few times, I feel I know her through her loving and beautiful daughter Sarah. Ceci's time with us was too short but she was loved, admired, and respected. She was an amazing mother and an inspiration to us all especially through her illness. Sending love, hugs, and hope to Sarah and to all of Ceci's family. May you find peace of mind in having known and loved her. 

A good friend from high school and life passed away on Friday. Ceci  was an amazing soul, full of life every day. She was always smiling and laughing. I can't remember anyone in my life's journey to be as sweet and happy as her.
I believe that God puts people like Ceci on Earth to remind us of how short life can be , we should always live to the fullest, appreciate what we have and love unconditionally.
Rest in Peace my dear friend.
I know you are in heaven with all the Angels, that is where you belong.

Snoopy is gone to Heaven I didn't want her to Die.
I know she didn't want us to but I have to cry.
She touched so many thru out her years.
It's not how she died it's how she lived that brings me to tears.
Her Moto has always been Live Laugh and Love.
My Prima now watches over us from Heaven Above.
Ceci was Unique unlike any other.
Her favorite thing in life was being Sarah's Mother.
She now joins other family members on the Lord's streets of Gold.
She's never been selfish this must be told.
Her Civic activities from the very start.
Was cause her Love for El Paso was part of her Heart.
Chuco Towns finest with class and Style.
But what I'll miss most is her sweet loving Smile.
Her cuate Lourdes her Partner in Crime.
Will have this pain for a very long Time.
Armando, Susan, Ray and my Tia Edna too.
Especially Sarah were all here for You.
She didn't want us to cry she wanted us Strong.
But our heart ache will be real Long.
She won the battle and the War.
Looking forward to Heaven and what her new life had InStore.
De Escansa En Paz you've earned that Right.
You no longer have to suffer and no longer have to Fight.
Till we see you again Lord knows we Will.
Loving you Forever Cuz for how you Kept thing Real.

For so long you gave everything to everybody. You lit up a room as soon as you walked in and left everyone around you with a powerful impact of love, and how life ought to be lived. I cant ever remember you not being all that you could be. We will all miss you so much your laughter your kindness your ability to make everyone you came into contact with feel so special. Rest well sweet angel, Until we meet again baby sister. Now soar sweet Ceci we will never forget you, never.


Ceci may you fly with the angels where you belong. Your kindness has always been beyond belief I only hope that some of that rubbed off on me.  Your presence is greatly missed but your memory will live in all who knew you forever.  May the glorious Lord receive you with open arms. Love you sister

Susan, I know Ceci will now be watching over you, her big sister, from a peaceful place. Enjoy life to its fullest with your loved ones. Ceci would want that for you. Until you two meet again in eternity. My most sincere condolences my dear friend. Ceci is now resting in peace. I love you dearly Susan.
