February 27, 1962 – July 31, 2025
With deep love and sorrow, the family of Charles Raymond Bost Lujan, affectionately known as Chuck, announces his passing on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the age of 63.
Born on February 27, 1962, in Galveston, Texas, Chuck grew up with a profound appreciation for family, faith, and learning. He was the beloved grandson of Esau Abraham Malooly and Afifi Malooly, born in Lebanon, and the nephew of Albert, George, Eddie, Richard, and Raymond Malooly. He is survived by his mother, Josephine Malooly Lujan; stepfather, Edmundo Lujan; and sister, Jana Lujan, all of El Paso.
Education and discovery were lifelong passions for Chuck. He graduated from Georgia Tech University with a degree in Biology and went on to pursue his calling in the healing arts, earning his professional degree from Cleveland Chiropractic School. A lifelong scholar, Chuck was always reading, studying, and expanding his knowledge of the medical and chiropractic fields, eager to share what he learned with others.
Chuck’s true legacy, however, lies not only in his education and career but in the way he lived his life. He was a man of curiosity, kindness, wisdom, and adventurous spirit. His compassion extended not only to family and friends but also to animals and the wider community of El Paso, where his warmth and generosity touched countless lives.
Above all, Chuck was devoted to his faith, the Church, and the Lord. His commitment to God anchored his life, and he strived daily to live with gratitude, integrity, and love. He leaves behind an enduring example of Christian faith in action.
A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 930 E. Redd Road, El Paso, Texas, with Father Ed Carpenter presiding. Family, friends, and the community are warmly invited to gather in prayer and thanksgiving for his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Father Ed Carpenter, honoring Chuck’s devotion to the Church.
Chuck’s presence was a blessing, and though he will be deeply missed, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. His faith, love, and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew him.
