Dale Elias Nasser Jr., 62, went peacefully into our Lord’s loving arms on December 28, 2023. Dale was born on May 5, 1961, to Delfone “Dale” and Surella “Sudie” Nasser. Dale was a sweet child and grew into a polite, kind, and caring adult. Dale was an awesome dad, son, brother, uncle, godfather and cousin dearly loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
Dale graduated from Austin High School in 1979, earned a BS in Industrial Engineering from UTEP in 1984, and an MBA from Webster University in 1991. Dale was an altar boy and member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. He was a member of Teen SOYO and played in the Church basketball league for several years. While raising his family on the eastside of El Paso, he was also a member and volunteer at Vista Del Sol Baptist Church.
Dale worked at Yazaki North America, an automotive parts manufacturer, since 2004 with his latest position being Branch Quality Manager for the border region. He was consulted frequently by company leaders all over the world and was an expert at cordially settling disputes and maintaining working relationships with both his customers and colleagues. Dale Jr. was diplomatic and charismatic just like his father.
Dale was a patient, kind, and loving man to all that were lucky enough to know him. He was modest and spoke with a loud, strong, and sweet voice and enjoyed sharing his creative humor. His resounding and heartfelt laughter and precious smile will always be with us. Dale loved to travel and experience different cultures and cuisines and meet people from all walks of life. His interests and talents included oil painting, performing music, concerts, movies, football, golf, building computers, and coaching kids’ sports, to name a few. He spent many years as an AWANA club’s leader, showing 3rd and 4th grade boys the word of God and spreading the gospel. He was a founding member of the Middle Eastern Descendants Club of El Paso. What Dale enjoyed most of all was spending time with his boys, who he lovingly referred to as his “boyos.” Dale would always talk so proudly of his boys.
Dale was preceded in death by his father, Delfone “Dale” Elias Nasser, Sr. Dale is survived by his sons Theo, Dale III, and Nicholas; his mother Surella; his brother Daniel (Kathy) and his sister Deanna.
