It's been so hard to write or say anything.  I still feel like it's a bad dream and you'll be telling everyone you want to go home,  but I guess you finally did go home.  Home with the Lord.   You were always there since I was born. You Loved unconditionally and I know this cause you accepted my Dad when not many would.  You were my second Dad and now you are both up in Heaven,  both watching over us and now both watching over the Twins.   I will miss you signing the cross to bless me and saying a prayer when I'd leave your house which I picked up and do to my Grandbabies.  I will love you forever and you will never be forgotten.

Danny, when we were kids, we had different interests and directions...you liked rock & roll and I liked Glenn Miller.  Additionally, when I was in college it consumed all my time and there after I was drafted into service.  All this impacted our distancing.
It was not until you and Fina  moved to Chaparral that I  really got to know you.  We got closer when you told me about your spiritual experience with our Holy Mother Mary in its Chimayo  NM church.  You told me that she asked you to build her a church and that you intended to do it.  I asked you how, when, where, who and with what money.  You looked at me and quietly said that she said I was going to do it.  I couldn't believe what I was hearing.  Next thing I  knew, I was designing and building an addition to the mobile home.  About 3 years later you said you needed another addition.  Against all resistance from the family, you used some funds you came into and we built it.  I later came to the realization that the church our Holy Mother was referring to was your whole family, lost & downhearted friends, and even some strangers you welcomed into your home.
Your life was full of music, being a professional Band Leader, orchestrator and music arranger in your own right.  El   Paso was the better for it when you entertained its masses at special events.  Your fame was well recognized. I am proud that you were the best in El Paso when you won the "Battle of the bands" at the Coliseum.
Danny, I'll miss our times together on the porch conversing and solving problems over a cup of coffee.  I thank God for the opportunity I had to make up for all the lost time before.  I will always love you and miss you.


To my daddy!!

Oh how I miss you oh so much!! I can’t handle walking into the house and not seeing you sitting on your couch watching the news and saying “ girl where’s my kiss.” You called me your nurse and always showed me that no matter what god is always on our side. I miss you dad! But I’m so glad I was able to spend time with you every morning since January. You can rest dad and have no more pain. I love you dad till we see each other again!! 

My Dearest Grandpa,

Words cannot explain the heartache I feel with you not here. Through my hardshell and strong interior, I'm a mess deep down inside knowing that you are actually gone. We all felt that this was just another episode that you would come out of; waiting for you to yell at the hospital staff and tell us you just want to leave and go smoke. With all that being said, you are at last free. Free of pain, free of heartache, free of worry. You've been the best role model to follow when it comes to loving God, Determination and Strength....a little too far with your strength, but that was my Grandpa. Just know that we love you to the moon and back! Don't worry your little soul, Nana will be taken care of by all of us.  I guarantee you that! Be free and rock on up there.

I am writing this with a heavy heart.  My dad was a one of a kind man. I am (as he always introduced me as) his first born i was his reina.  I learned alot from him.  Without him i would not know how to improvise how to live during hard times how to at a spare of a moment get up and travel.  He also taught all of us how to read maps connect electronics etc.  How to live life without judging . He was a very hard working husband and father holding up to 3 jobs just to make sure we were taken care of and spoil us.  He always told as, you have obligations responsibilities never quit and if your going to do something make sure your the best at it.  Dad i will forever miss you so very much. I'm going to miss out on our political talks lol.  There are just so many memories i can't put down But nevertheless you will always be in my mind heart and soul.  I love you dad and miss you so much 

Thank u so much grandpa for making me the man I am today u taught me kindness love compassion and patience and also too smile even when it's bad I'm gonna miss our talks and the knowledge u have installed in me and too get up work hard and have manners I love u so much thank u for treating me as family always

Daddy O i love you so much and miss you so much…..it is so difficult to move on but we know that you want us to keep your legacy moving forward.  I promised to you that i would move forward with your plans so i will.

Thank you for instilling love and kindness in us but most of all the love and worship to our Lord and Savior…Daddy O you must look so handsome with your wings…..can’t wait to see you…..I love you and you will always be in my heart and soul…. Too-da-loo daddy o ♥️♥️♥️♥️

There’s so many memories with you. My favorites have always been when we would go watch you and the band play. Or every time I would walk in and see you I would get a beautiful smile and a “hello Mija, how are you?” With a blessing . When ever I speak about you I call you a fighter. Because that’s what you are, a fighter who fought many battles. But now your in heaven with the Lord , and you no longer live in pain or worry. Rylee and I love you. We will greatly miss you. We will take care of Tia and the rest of the family.. Play on Tio. And rest easy. We love you. ❤️ 

To my amazing father, thank you for making me an honorable person. You and I have always been honest with each other. Whether we agree or disagree, argued or smiled. We never stop saying I love you. Thank you for teaching and preaching me about GOD.  I know you're in his kingdom. 

 Also, keep signing your heart out. I'm sure your voice carries well in heaven.
