David Carbajal

David Carbajal, 68, of El Paso, Texas, passed away on October 21, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. Born on August 24, 1957 in Los Angeles, California. He was the child of late Juan and Delia Carbajal.

David graduated from Riverside High School in 1976. David worked as a Bowling Mechanic for many years. David enjoyed the outdoors including fishing, camping, hunting and cooking out while listening to oldies on Sunday afternoons. David was a kind and dependable person always willing to lend a helping hand. He was the go to person for help fixing cars, plumbing, electrical work or any other handy work one needed.

David loved his wife of 48 years, his children and grandchildren. He was the foundation of the family.

David is survived by his wife Gloria Carbajal, his son Andres Mata (Sophia) granddaughter Natalia Mata. Daughter Charlotte Holguin (Frank) grandsons Andrew Narro and Elias Holguin. Daughter Amanda Akers (Luke) grandchildren Gabriel, Luke David, Riley, Charlie and MacKenzie Akers. Sisters, Gloria Grenzebach, Belinda Albertson and Annie Chinn. Brothers, John Carbajal and Gilbert Carbajal. He was proceeded in death by his parents Juan and Delia Carbajal, brother Albert Carbajal.

A gathering will be held from 5:00 - 6:00 pm on November 7, 2025 at Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel. Followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:00 pm and Remembrance of Word to begin at 7:00 pm.
