We are saddened by the passing of David who will always be connected to our lives through the two wonderful sons we shared, Austin, who recently graduated from law school, and Cory, who proudly followed in his father’s footsteps into law enforcement. He also leaves behind his daughter-in-law, Diana, and his two beautiful granddaughters, Scarlette and McKinley.

The last time we saw David, Cecy, and Chris was at Austin’s graduation, a proud and joyful day spent together. It’s a memory we will always hold close. May he rest in peace.

I honor the life of a man who meant so much to my family and I- my uncle. He was more than just family. He was a steady presence, a source of laughter, wisdom, and quiet strength. Whether it was his stories, his advice, or just the way he made you feel valued.  He had a heart that welcomed others and hands always ready to help. He taught us the importance of kindness and standing tall through adversity and of finding joy in life’s simplest blessings. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the values he passed down, and the love that still surrounds us.
Though he is no longer with us in this world, his memory lives on in every story we share, every lesson we carry, and every smile we wear when we think of him.
Rest peacefully, Uncle. You will always be loved, always be missed, and never be forgotten.
