

On January 19, 2018 David Gallegos drifted off into heaven from the arms of his loving wife of 55 years Gloria Gallegos to the arms of our loving Lord. David was born in Canutillo, Texas on December 4, 1938 to Miguel and Venancia Gallegos. He attended El Paso High School and served in the Army. He married the “love of his life” on March 17, 1962 They moved to California where he retired after 31 years of service to the California Carpenters Brotherhood. We thank him for being an amazing husband, father, and grandfather, who dedicated himself to our families well being. After his retirement he returned to El Paso, Texas where he lived the last 15 years of his life. David was such a ray of sunshine, such a strong, witty and kind soul. He left behind a legacy of love, and good memories as caring man that was loved by all who knew him. He lived life to the fullest as a happy and compassionate person that loved his family, friends, music, dancing, betting the horses, and a true Raiders fan. Forever we will love and miss him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Miguel and Venancia Gallegos. He is survived by loving wife Gloria, daughter Christina Duffy (Rick), son David Gallegos Jr. (Tina), Grandchildren, Erica Arno (Jeff), Josh Duffy (Nyscelle), Alyssa Wagner (Jason). Sister Maria Elena Sanchez, Brothers Miguel, Octaviano and Arturo Gallegos.
