I am very saddened to hear of the passing of David.He was a smart and wonderful friend.I was blessed to take some classes at UTEP with him.My deepest condolences go out to the Gates family.Love and miss you David.

I am saddened to hear about the passing of David. For the short time I knew him I found him to be a caring and fun individual.

My deepest sympathies and condolences I spent with david some of the best times of my life I will always remember him and regard him as my best friend. I am currently in shock and can't believe this is true but cannot imagine what you are going through. Words cannot express how I feel about  this tragic loss, my prayers are with you.
