It is with deep respect and remembrance that we announce the passing of beloved father and husband, David (Dave) Eugene Sesker. Dave was born in Iowa on January 4, 1951, the third son of Robert and Helen (Swanson) Sesker. Born and raised on the family farm, he spent his formative years learning the value of hard work and quiet dedication. He became a master at the art of building, repairing, and remodeling. He spent many years involved in community organizations, including the Jaycees and planning and zoning, but what he will be remembered for most was his devotion to friends and family.
An all around good person, Dave was always willing to help friends and neighbors, whether it meant building a garage, fixing a motorcycle, or remodeling a house. He was always one to show-up and lend a steady hand with an unspoken understanding of what was needed. There were no frills or fanfare; just a quiet determination to do things the right way.
Dave took great pride in being an ever present father, never missing a single meet, match, or game from elementary school through college. His devotion to family continued as he helped his kids with numerous house projects of their own. With enduring patience, he passed along the skills to plan and execute vision with the highest quality.
Dave was a person of few words, but deep in character. A quiet listener, always present, always steady, always grounding. He will be remembered with every new project, but most importantly for his lessons in patience, hard work, and kindness.
Dave passed away in El Paso, Tx on 11/23/2025 from pancreatic cancer. No services will be held at this time, however, a springtime Celebration of Life will be planned for family and friends in Iowa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you hug your loved ones and care for your beloved animals.
Dave is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jane (Varcoe) Sesker. His daughters, Mikol Sesker and Megan Sesker (Rob Enriquez); Grandchildren, Aydin and Kaia Sesker, Robert David, Jude, Ella, and Emma Enriquez, and Brother, Noel (Deborah) Sesker. He is preceded in death by his son, Nathan David Sesker; Parents, Robert and Helen Sesker; and Brother, James Sesker.
