With heavy hearts, we announce that our amazing mother, wife, grandmother, and friend, Maria Delia Garcia has been called home to be with our Lord and Savior. Born on August 09, 1946 in Durango, Mexico, Delia lived a faithful life spreading the love of God while being an immense impact to everyone she met. She always put others before herself, and strived to live the life God intended her to live. She fought difficult battles throughout her life. Fighting and beating breast cancer and soon battling Parkinson's all while trusting in God and letting her family aware of her great resilience. The great deal of strength she portrayed will be remembered by her fearless personality.
Delia is preceded in death by her mother, Socorro Coblentz and brother, Eduardo “Lalo” Coblentz.
Left to cherish her memories are: her husband Jose Garcia, her sister Elva Rodriguez, her brother James Coblentz, her daughters Monica Vasquez and Yvonne Samaniego. Additionally, her grandkids, Alexis, Angelina, Isabelle, and Joshua, her niece and nephews, and her son in laws, Mark Vasquez and Erik Samaniego.
A visitation for Delia will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 North Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79936. A vigil service will occur Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 6:00 PM, 1462 North Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas 79936. A funeral mass will occur Friday, July 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM at St Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar Rd, El Paso, Texas 79925. A graveside service will occur Friday, July 22, 2022 at 2:30 PM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79915.
