Dotté Matilda McIntyre was born to Noble and Viola McIntyre on November 17, 1918 in Evansville, Indiana and went to be with her Lord on June 30, 2018. She attended Stringtown Elementary School in Evansville where her mother attended as a child. She went to Reitz High School and later worked at Servel where refrigerators were made.
She lived in many places in the U.S but in 1956 she moved to El Paso and made it her home. She was successful in photography and worked at the Ft. Bliss photo lab for 29 years. She loved dancing and gardening, so she kept a beautiful yard, rose garden and grew fruits and vegetables. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and volunteered for many years in the thrift shop when it was operational. Dotté was very outgoing and loved to be around people.
She is survived by her sister Marie Hensz, College Station Texas, a nephew Robert Hensz, (Sarah) College Station, Texas, a niece Carol Cheney, Williamston, Michigan, great nephews, Sky Cheney (Lynne) and John Hensz (Trishelle), great nieces Tara (Mike) Peplowski, and Elisa Hensz, a great great nephew, and 3 great, great nieces.

Interment will be in All Saints Episcopal columbarium. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to All Saints Episcopal Church, El Paso.
