Claudette E. Watson was born November 26, 1937 to Daniel and Carrie Inscore in Mansfield, Ohio. Claudette was raised with 3 loving sisters Janice, Barbara, and Alice and attended Mansfield Senior High School. She worked full time and raised 3 children along with 4 step children. She was an accomplished artist doing murals, sculptures, and countless oil on canvas paintings. She loved her husband Steve Watson of 36 years; they loved traveling, golfing, scuba diving, hiking, and many abroad missionary trips. Claudette loved animals. She would rescue and nurse back to health any animal that crossed her path. She had an endless passion for children. Any child was immediately drawn to her kind and loving spirit. She was especially drawn to children in need. Claudette traveled to Honduras several times to help build schools and minister to the children. Claudette also ministered to the homeless shelter, the Opportunity Center, she drove the ladies from the shelter to church and took them food, gifts and just befriended them. Through her church (St Marks United Methodist) and her second family, she helped spear head an Orphanage in Mexico, Casa De Vida De Paz. She painted murals, cooked food, taught Sunday School, and helped organize the initial set up of the orphanage. The children adored her and she talked endlessly of her love for them. Claudette had so many friends that adored her, and in her time of need she was surrounded and ministered to continuously. She was overwhelmed and so grateful for all the kindness she received in her time of need. Claudette loved life and loved to laugh. She found joy in the simple things in life, and lived a life of love for her Savior. She loved to cook and feeding others was another way she showed her love.
