LOVED your stories and your laugh.  Your personality was contagious and your love for your family to be admired.   May you rest in peace and may you reunite with those loved ones that left before you.   And etc. Etc. Etc!

I am so sorry for your loss.  I always appreciated Eduardo's experiences,  sense of humor and pictures of his adventures.

My favorite memories of Ed all have to do with how fun-loving and happy he was!  Always laughing, always making things happier and more fun.  I have long admired the love and true friendship he and Yolanda shared.  I will miss him so much.

I know these are difficult times for family and especially you,  Aunt Yolie.  The memories are all that we now have of Uncle Eddie that we will carry for the rest of our lives. 
As a Youngster,  I remember Eddie and Yolie studying at my Grandparent's (Pablo and Mina's) home while they were attending Texas Western Collage (Now UTEP).  I learned all the older music of the 50's from my Uncle Eddie playing all the music from that time.  I remember how proud he was when he purchased his brand new 58 Chevy Impala, only to replace it with a new 59 Chevy Impala.  I enjoyed riding along with him in his new Impala's at that time.  What a happy event it was for all the family when Uncle Eddie and Aunt Yolie got married at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.  Yes, I will miss him and his phone call or text on my Birthday which was 3 days before his.....  Uncle Eddie you will be truly missed and now may you Rest in Peace.

Dear Mrs. Eduardo Rey and Family,

Please accept our deepest condolences for Eddies passing, may he rest in peace.

Eddie and I went to high school and worked together at Safeway for many years.  We experienced many happy moments and shared the thrill of purchasing our first new cars and blue suede shoes.

Our relationship waned in 1958 when I was drafted and Eddie went off to college.

Thanks for lots of good memories old friend, we will meet again one of these days.

My Memories of Uncle Eddie

I have many fond memories of my Uncle Eddie. Uncle Eddie was such a thoughtful uncle who was always eager to help his family. I remember all those family holiday parties he hosted for us. He was the consummate host. It really did not matter what the season was because if you went to his home, you would be treated like the royal family. If we ate at Avilas, he was just as conscientious about everybody having a good time. I loved to hear about Uncle Eddie’s success in international business. I could visualize him introducing a major American company, 3M, to production in Mexico. Uncle Eddie was always up-to-date on the business news. He loved reading The Wall St. Journal. When you went shopping with him, you could see him gravitate toward the technology items. It seemed like he had more gadgets than 007. He even dressed just as nice. Uncle Eddie loved my Grandma and he took her on trips to Europe. She loved those trips and I enjoyed hearing about their travels. Uncle Eddie loved my Aunt Yolie. He enjoyed attending the ASCD conferences as much as the ASCD members. He even helped at the conferences. I was always glad when Uncle Eddie visited us in Las Vegas because I could finally be a good host to him. Before I knew it, though, Uncle Eddie was in the kitchen helping us prepare the holiday meal. That was Uncle Eddie.
