Edward T. Malooly

Edward Thomas Malooly, age 89, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 in El Paso. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso and a Businessman for over 60 years. Mr. Malooly, along with his brothers, was the owner of Malooly’s Furniture Store, The Patio, Furniture Too and Shoes Too. He was an avid golf player. He was preceded in death by his parents, Esau and Afifi Malooly from Lebanon, as well as his brothers; Albert Malooly, George Malooly, and Richard Malooly. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Malooly, daughter Renee Malooly, sons, Ed Malooly and wife Debra, Jason Malooly and wife Janice. Grandsons, Jared, Jett and Justin Malooly. Brother, Raymond Malooly and wife Alice. Sister, Joanne Lujan and husband Ed. Sister-in-law, Selma Malooly, Karen Foster and husband Robert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home-West with a Trisagion Service at 7 p.m. Graveside Service will be Friday, January 27, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Fr. George M. Al-Dehneh officiating. The family wishes to thank Dr. Muneer Assi, Dr. Michael De Luca, Dr. Jeremy Cuthbertson and Dr. Diane Demick, as well as Fire Station #8 and the entire staff at the Monte vista at Coronado.
