Elisabeth H. Recendez

Elisabeth was the wife of Juan L. Recendez. They shared 74 years together, they had six children, Juan Gerardo, Jaime, Javier, Norma, Marta Alicia, and Luis Manuel, 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Elisabeth was born in Saltillo, Coahuila, she was the daughter of Marcos and Macedonia Hernandez.

Elisabeth will be remembered for her love of family, cooking, bunuelos, gorditas, tamales, music, faith and consejos. Some of her favorite things were lilacs, Christmas, angels, coffee & tea, nopalitos, enchiladas, and gorditas.

A visitation for Elisabeth will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, TX 79936. A vigil/rosary will occur Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, TX 79936. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2709 Alabama St, El Paso, TX 79930. A graveside will occur Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Restlawn Cemetery, 4848 Alps Dr, El Paso, TX 79904.
