Enrique Federico

Enrique Federico, born June 5, 1937 in Tucson, Arizona, died peacefully on October 27, 2021, in El Paso, Texas. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Erika (Loth), his parents, Aurelio and Vidalia (Olguin) Federico, and by his brothers and sisters, Aurelio Federico ("Guero"), Rita Borquez, Jesus Federico ("Chuy"), Guadalupe Ortiz ("Lupita"), and Erlinda Sanchez ("Linda"). He is survived by his cherished sister, Virginia Olivares Rayher ("China"), of Gilbert, Arizona, and many nieces and nephews.

Enrique was a retired US Army staff sergeant and USPS postal worker. He was a proud combat veteran who served in Germany, Vietnam, and other countries, and was decorated many times for his service. He was a patriot, a devoted husband, a loving brother, and a patron of many charities.

A visitation will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina Drive, El Paso, Texas, on January 3, 2022, 4:00 – 8:00 pm, with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm. The graveside service with full military honors will take place at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery on January 4, 2022, at 1 pm. The funeral procession will leave Hillcrest Funeral Home at 12:30 pm.
