Enrique (Henry) Medina, age 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at William Beaumont Army Hospital in El Paso, Texas. He was born on January 31, 1943, in Montoya, to Pablo and Dolores Medina. He was a proud Navy veteran and worked at Phelps Dodge Refining Company! for 30 years. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, such as cooking out, gardening, yard work, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by two sisters; Eustolia Medina Arellano (Daniel) and Consuelo Media Gonzalez (Frank Gonzalez Jr.); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Those whose lives Henry touched are invited to Hillcrest Funeral Home-West, 5054 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, Texas 79932 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 27, 2024; Rosary to start at 1:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will occur at San Francisco de Asis, 5750 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, Texas 79932 to begin at 11:30 am on Monday, October 28, 2024. After the mass, an Interment will occur at 1:00 pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., El Paso, Texas 70006. Pallbearers are Dina Gonzalez, Sharon Medina, Steven Gonzalez, Abel Martinez, Richard Medina, Marco Morales, Raymond Lopez, and Chuy Lopez.
