I always appreciated Aunt Espie's unbiased advice, strong and humble spirit, laughter, honesty, and love! She was a faithful wife, mother, sister and aunt and cared very deeply for her entire family. Aunt Espie was always adorable and will be missed! I have so many memories, but my favorite is February 6-7, 1988!  Thank you, Tom, for both of you being able to make the trip out to Dallas this past Christmas! I love you all and will continue to pray for God's Healing, Comfort, and Peace.  See you soon! I had the privilege of meeting Espie when I was younger, and I was heartbroken to hear about her passing. I am deeply saddened that I was unable to see her again now that I am older, but I will always remember her warm and caring soul. Don, Tom, Judy, Jessica, and Bobby, my deepest condolences go out to you during this difficult time. She may not be here with us any more, but her spirit will always be present in our lives. Rest In Peace, Espie.

I’ll never forget grandma Espies sweet smile, warm hugs and welcoming soul... Treasured in my heart are the moments I’ve been able to spend beside her. I say goodbye with great sadness, for life has unfolded in a way that I was unable to enjoy her as often as wished, yet with a much greater love and admiration towards the woman that my grandmother Esperanza was, the struggles she overcame, having charm and  ceaseless unconditional love for her children and grandchildren. I still cannot believe that this colorful beautiful lady is no longer with us. 
My deepest condolences to dear Aunt Judy and Uncle Don, who kept close to grandma all along, and made it possible for her and I to reconnect after the years; to Grandpa Tom for enduring with grandma a love story like no other, where the two were so inseparable, and he always sought to protect her heart, and shower her with love and affection. Together you all made her very happy.  This is how I want to remember you, grandma. I miss you, love you, and still remember our last one-on-one conversation, in which you said: “Aquí tienes tú casa con nosotros, mija!” (You will always have a home here with us darling)...  You will always have a special place in my heart, Grandma Espy.

I was hearth broken when I heard you were gone and so sorry you and Tom did not make it to come and see us one more time even dough you were working on it!!
When Most people think of the words” Mother in law” there are quite a few thought that come to mind , and not all of them are flattering! Espie was a sweet, gentle woman.
I miss you so much and I was hoping you make us your famous chicken castrol once again.
You never spend a second worrying to fulfill yourself.you were 100% happy being a wife, mother, and the “worlds best Grandms”
I am so glad that you were fortunate enough to die exactly the way you wanted it in your own home next to your sole mate” Tom”
