Stella was the second born child (daughter) to Estela Torres Navarrete and Juan Navarrete. She married Martin Rhoda Muñoz May 8, 1951. To their marriage they had an only child, Dina Muñoz who lived with her mother.
She was a beautiful woman, always the life of the party with a wonderful laugh as she was always smiling. And what an incredible cook; if you were fortunate enough to savor her delicious enchiladas and famous apple cake. Stella worked over 40 years as oral surgery assistant for Dr. Truett Maddox, MD in El Paso, Texas.
Stella was preceded in death by her husband Martin Rhoda Muñoz. She is survived by her daughter Dina Muñoz; siblings John Navarrete, Joe Navarrete, and Reuben Navarrete.

Visitation for Stella will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Rosary at 5:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N Resler Dr, El Paso, Texas 79912. Mass will be Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Queen of Peace Church, 1551 Belvidere St, El Paso, TX 79912.
Stella will be missed by her daughter Dina Muñoz and our family.
