Esther Alicia Blanco

Esther Alicia Blanco passed away on October 20th, 2014 in El Paso, Texas, and was surrounded by her loving family. Alicia was devoted to her family and took great joy in nurturing and caring for each of them. There will be a void in our lives now that she has joined our Lord in heaven.

She is survived by her husband Jose Luis Blanco, her two children, Bobby Blanco and Claudia Armijo, and their spouses Cassie Blanco and Steven Armijo. Alicia was blessed to have 4 grandchildren: Evan Blanco, Ava Blanco, Charlie Armijo and Sofia Armijo. She is also survived by her sisters, Elena Tovar, Rosario Correll and their spouses, Daniel Tovar and Don Correll and brother Daniel Ruiz. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Jose Ruiz and Martha Ruiz.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with Rosary at 7:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home West. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 9:30 AM at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 400 W. Sunset Rd., El Paso, Texas 79922. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery, 4900 McNutt Rd., Santa Teresa, NM 88008.
