Evangelina B. Castro passed peacefully in Locust Grove, Virginia on March 13, 2026, at the age of 91.

Born in Sinaloa de Leyva, Sonara Mexico on December 27, 1934.

She married Jacinto M. Castro on September 21, 1957. They lived in Los Angeles, California for 43 years before moving to El Paso, Texas in 2001.

While living in Los Angeles she was very involved in her church and had a very strong presence in her community.

She relocated to El Paso to be with her family and was involved with her senior community.

She will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on March 26, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. with a Funeral Service at 11:30 am. at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer St, El Paso, Texas 79904, on March 26, 2026.

A Committal Service will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 8700 Dyer St, El Paso, TX 79904, on March 26, 2026, at 12:30 pm.
