Frances R. Imai passed away on November 5, 2021
Originally from San Angelo, Texas, Frances was a wonderful, caring and loving wife, and an amazing mother to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Frances is survived by her husband David Imai Sr., of 64 years; three sons: David Jr. (Sharron), Christopher (Susan), Andrew (Carmen) and daughter Irene. She is also survived by her brother, Charlie Salazar Ramirez (Sylvia) of Corpus Christi, Texas; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Frances was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness November 4, 1974. Years later after relocating to El Paso from San Angelo, Texas, she was introduced to the Truth by her Father-in-Law, Luis Takeo Imai and her Sister-in-Law, Lucy Imai Barraza. She was attracted to the Truth because of the truths found in the Bible - Resurrection Hope. She had a deep love for Jehovah God and His Son, Jesus Christ She loved telling others what truths she was learning, the hope Jehovah has
in store for mankind under Kingdom ruled by Christ Jesus (the Kingdom prayed for in the Lord’s Prayer), just as she herself came to know and love. Over that time she made many great friends and enjoyed fulfilling her obligation to preach door-to-door. (Matthew 28: 19, 20)
Her entire family mourns her loss. Visitation will be Friday, November 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with Speaker beginning at 11:45 a.m. and Memorial Talk Officiated by Dan Thaden at 12:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 N. Carolina, El Paso, TX 79915. Internment to follow at Ft. Bliss Cemetery 5200 Fred Wilson, Ft. Bliss, TX 79906.
