Gilbert Jaime Pineda

Gilbert Jaime Pineda, 58, loving father, son, brother and friend, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016. Gilbert is survived by his children: Melissa, Lindsay and Gilbert Jr.; parents: Rodolfo F. Pineda and Beneranda J.; brothers: Rudy Jr., Edward J., James T., Joe D., Matthew J.; sister: Rachel N.; aunt: Cecilia Gutierrez; uncles: Ismael, Jaime and Lorenzo Pineda and a host of cousins and nephews whom he loved very much and who all loved him. Gilbert will surely be missed by his loved ones and the many friends he made and loved throughout his life, especially his caring character, his precious humor and his unbelievable musical talent. He was a problem-solver, always willing to help people with their personal difficulties, always reaching out to those in need. His contribution to music as a means of making people happy will always be remembered by many of his colleagues and friends in the El Paso area and New Mexico. Even his ex-wives still love him, because he never held a grudge against anyone, he believed in loving God and his neighbor and, in his own way, helped his father and mother spread the Message of Our Lady of Fatima. Visitation: Hillcrest Funeral Home Monday, April 11, 2016 from 5-9pm; Holy Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass: Tuesday, at 11:30am, at Our Lady of the Valley Church, 8600 Winchester Street, in the Ysleta District, and burial at Ft. Bliss Cemetery at 1:00pm.
