Gonzalo (Chalo) Lozano Jr
Born April 24, 1939 and called to heaven January 22, 2026.
Chalo was always loving, caring, compassionate and just overall a phenomenal man. As a big brother, he watched over his little sister and as a young man he served his country.
In 1964, his heart became one with the love of his life Maria Teresa Lozano. For 61 years, they created a wonderful life together with their two children.
Throughout the years, he was a fun loving 6th grade teacher, a college instructor, mechanic, craftsman and a coach for his son, daughter and grandchildren.
With everything he accomplished, his greatest accomplishment was the Love within his family. He adored his wife, Terri or as he called her, WIFEY. His son Robert and wife, Yvonne and grandchildren, Jacob, Briana and Jade. His daughter Juliet and grandkids and their families. His grandson and loving caretaker, Andrew (Mikey). Anthony, his wife Martha and great grandchildren, Athena and Maurice. Alexandria, her husband Michael, and great grandchildren Miguel and Benicio. Chalo was also blessed with a wonderful sister Tangie, her husband Vern and their kids and families, Vern, Kelly, Richard, and Scott.
Over the past two and half years, Chalo dealt with many serious complications that affected his once active life. However, his faith, love, and positivity really pushed him through every obstacle that came his way. He always worked to get better and walk again.
He had a team of steadfast doctors and nurses that always found a way to get him through his difficult times; Dr.Raudales, Dr.Dobrin, Dr.Raja, Dr.Szeyko, Dr. Benson, Martha Tapia, the fantastic Nurses at Providence Infusion and his nurse, Lourdes Cordero. Their dedication to Chalo is greatly appreciated and something we will be eternally grateful for.
Husband, Brother, Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, Coach and Mr.Lozano, the many names our Chalo went by… he was a Renaissance Man and our world will never be the same without him. We all loved him to pieces! And will forever be filled with love for him in our hearts!
