Graciela Marquez Bishop, a lifelong resident of El Paso, TX, passed away Friday March 19, 2021 at the age of 73. Many lovingly knew her as Grace. While nothing was more important to her than her family, she still found time to be an amazing friend, mentor, confidant, steward, volunteer, and sister in Christ to countless others. For many years, she worked for, and then retired from Ysleta Independent School District. Throughout her life, she was active in Youth Ministry, RCIA, A.C.T.S, Military Council of Catholic Women, and Religious Formation Classes in the El Paso Catholic Community at St. Raphael Church, St. Michael Church (Ft. Bliss), and at St. Pius Church. She was a lifelong muscle car enthusiast, and an active leading member of Phantom Vettes Inc. Her hobbies included her love of gardening and tending to her beautiful yard, dedication to daily prayer and reflection of scripture and her daily rosary, and always helping others unconditionally. Grace is survived by her loving husband, John Bishop, son, Joe Estrada and wife, Lorena Reyes Estrada, daughter, Rebeca Estrada and husband, Kyle Lundquist, grandchildren Michael Joseph Estrada and Adelina Lorena Estrada, her stepsons, Stephan Bishop and Michael Bishop and their families, and her brothers, Roger Marquez and Manuel Marquez and their families.
