Guadalupe A. Solomon

Guadalupe Solomon, beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the age of 91. She was born in El Paso, Texas, to Nazaria and Jesus Adame, and carried with her a deep love for her family and her hometown throughout her life.

Guadalupe was married for 58 years to Alexander Solomon, with whom she shared a lifetime of devotion and adventure until his passing. Together, they made their home in Southern California for many years, where Guadalupe worked in the reservations office for Pan Am Airlines in Los Angeles. Her career opened the door to a lifetime of travel, and she and Alex enjoyed visiting new places and making memories around the world. They especially loved their visits to Las Vegas, where Guadalupe could often be found happily trying her luck at the slot machines.

In retirement, Guadalupe and Alex returned to her hometown of El Paso. There, she enjoyed being close to family once again and took great comfort in her home and the friendships she built with her neighbors.

Guadalupe is survived by her brother, Francisco Adame, her sister, Carmen Parra, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Solomon, and her parents, Nazaria and Jesus Adame.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Guadalupe’s caregivers in her final years, dear friends Hector and Lupe Clemente, including Mari, Aurora, and her nephew Manny and Martha Martinez, whose kindness, devotion, and compassion brought her comfort, dignity, and peace.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N Clark Dr., El Paso, TX 79905. Followed by a rosary at 9:30AM.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N Clark Dr., El Paso, TX 79905. Reception to follow at St. Pius X Community Center.

Guadalupe’s long life was filled with love, laughter, and faith, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
