Harold Green was born on July 6, 1928 in Detroit Michigan, his family moved to Colorado when he was a year old and that’s where he was raised. He joined the army and was deployed to the European theater for the final year of WWII. In 1954 Hal moved to Las Cruces, NM to work at White Sands Missile Range, where he worked to develop various missile systems throughout his career and retired in 1983. He moved to El Paso in the early 1960’s and married Angelita Flores in 1966. He was a member of the El Paso Soaring Society from 1992 until it disbanded in 2010 and enjoyed an abiding love of flying.
Harold is survived by his daughter Sandra Green, his sister Rachel Morgan and his brother Russell Green.
