Hector Michael Almeida loving known as “Mikey” has now won his crown of glory and is in the presence of our Heavenly Father. Michael entered the gates of heaven on February 9, 2025, at 4:14 am in his home surrounded by his family. He did not lose to his illness, but he won! To God be the Glory!
His life was blessed with all that he loved and adored. Although Michael’s greatest love was for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He loved the Lord with all that was in him. His faith was bigger than this world we live in, and he was never ashamed of who he was. He always said he wanted to bring everyone that he knew close to Jesus.
Michael is survived by his loving wife Lorraine Elizabeth Almeida, his son Joshua Michael Almeida and his stepson Julian Alexander Hernandez. Michael and Lorraine were married for 19 years and enjoyed raising both boys along with 5 dogs. Michael and Lorraine loved their date nights, movie nights and Sunday morning Church with their boys. His smile was brighter than the sun, his laugh was sweet, and his loving presence will be missed every minute of all our lives.
His wonderful parents Hector L Almeida and Susan B Almeida (resting in heaven) raised an amazing man with a heart of a lion! His loving second parents (his in-laws) Fernando Robles Jr and Corina Robles along with his brother-in-law Roman Fernando Robles will miss him dearly.
Michael’s beautiful Sister Rachel Bumgardner and her husband Jack Bumgardner along with their children Abigail Susanne Bumgardner Jordan with her husband Conner Jordan, Annaliese Sarah Bumgardner, Jack Philip Bumgardner love their Uncle Mikey, and he was so proud to be their uncle. Michael always considered his nieces and nephew as his own and loved watching them grow up.
Michael loved and I mean LOVED his whole family with all his heart. His Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles along with all his cousins and their children were never far from his mind and heart. He always looked forward to family parties! He adored them all.
Michael was a wonderful friend, teammate, and colleague to all he who worked with and just hung out with. Michael was a light and joy to everyone who knew him.
Michael’s interests in technology were more than just a hobby but he attained a bachelor’s in information technology from the University of Phoenix in 2007. His love for the New York Yankees and the Michigan Wolverines was obvious when he would always wear a baseball cap of each team with every outfit. He loved his mornings with bible reading and his cup of coffee, not to forget his favorite breakfast was eggs, bacon and toast! Boy! Did he love coffee especially from Starbucks! Double shot of espresso, please!
Our Michael will live forever in our hearts and mind. We love you so much Mikey and will miss you deeply, but we will see him again when we are all together in heaven with him!
