It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Isaias Alvidrez, who passed away on November 9th 2025, only a few hours after beginning his first round of chemotherapy.
Isaias, known to many as Isa, was just 22 years old, a bright and loving soul who touched the lives of everyone around him. He was a dedicated student in the highly competitive BA/MD medical program at the University of New Mexico. Isa was passionately dedicating his future to helping others, a reflection of his caring nature and enormous heart.
While his time with us was far too short, Isa's kindness, laughter, and compassion will live on forever in the hearts of everyone who knew him. He will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, classmates, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
